This was taken from atop a hill (Elev. 800') overlooking the lake. Luckily, the guys didn't make me hike down the slope (it would've been easier to repel). We found a gravel road that took us down and around to where we needed to be. And even then, I didn't hike as far as they did. (I can hike up a hill; it's going back down that scares me.)
The lake is dammed in and, when the water level is high enough, spills over into the creek. It's a lot prettier in the summer, with the water running over the spillway and the trees green with leaves. So I guess I'll just have to go back up there in the summer to get more pictures.
