There's this little personal info thingy (yes, I think that is the technical name for it) on Facebook where you're supposed to enter what religion you associate yourself with . . . Or something like that. Mine? Next to "Religion" I typed "Christian." Not (finger quotes) Christian (finger quotes), but the "I believe Jesus is the Son of God, died for the price of my sins, was raised from the dead by the Holy Spirit, and now sits next to God in heaven and asks God to look after me 'cause I'm such a mess" kind of Christan. But I gotta tell ya, there are some really creative ways my friends have to describe Religion. Here are some of my favorites:

Mine is yours. From time to time, there's some confusion, but for the most part, mine is yours.
My daughter has "It's all about Jesus" for her FB religion. I also like it when people put "Just Jesus" or "Jesus without the crap"
I'm not creative - I put my denomination - LCMS and figured if there were any others who are that, they'll know what the acronym stands for.
So the first thing I did was go to FB and see what I put for my status. I guess we have something in common.

Well, truth is mine ain't specified. The (perhaps soon to be former) church I attend is really non-denominational (in spite of the Baptist moniker) I decided to let the content of my facebook express my faith. I know that doesn't help since none of you have my 'real' facebook, but that's the deal folks.
Well, of course, it's pretty uncomplicated to just check the 'RC' box, and leave it at that. . . Altho a full description would be, as others have noted, more complex. . .
But back when I was in college, I took to answering the 'race' question with 'human'. . .
And Cocotte, a good friend, and former co-worker of mine, is an LCMS pastor. . .
