Me: Was she (pointing towards the woman who just left) rude to you?
Cashier Jennifer: Everyone's rude this year.
Me: I'm sorry.
Cahsier Jennifer: That's ok. I just needed to tell someone that and you looked like someone I could tell.
Me: Yes, that's fine. You can tell me that.
Cashier Jennifer: Thanks for coming in and have a Merry Christmas.
Me: You have a Merry Christmas and I hope you're day gets better.
Cashier Jennifer: It's better already. Thanks.

I have been working extra hard to be nice to cashiers and other store employees through the season.
Honestly, it is the little things. After the last couple days at work I've had, I totally get it!
I especially thought of you, FadKog, as I was writing this.
I think it's great, that you took the moment to pay attention to her- also, to post it, and remind me that I need to be more aware of my own attitude.
Thank you!
