Update: There's been a lot of reports of strange happenings at voting places around the country. Did you have anything interesting happen when you went to vote?

Nothing strange, or interesting where I voted; just the usual small-town polling place.

Small, as in the polling workers know enough of us, that as I walked over to sign the book, they already had it open at my name, lol.

Our county, which is extremely conservative, for some reason only printed half the ballots needed for registered voters. It is anticipated that many people will not end up voting because they'll be sent awy and told to come back later, which of course, not everyone can or will do. That seems fishy to me.

My brother had to use a provisional ballot because they had him down as sending in an absentee ballot already, which he didn't. He never even signed up for one.

I thought it was strange that I had the luck of actually picking time of day where I didn't have to stand in a long line! Pure Luck!
(because I did in fact, hear all about the horrors of the long lines!)

I was a little irritated... well, not really, just a teeny tiny bit... my church was the polling place...the person with the book looked right at me, smiled at me, and said-- what's your name? I was like... WHAT? I attend church with this person quite often, and grew up going to church with this person... LOL she realized it was me, when i didn't tell her my name... I was there at 6:20am... she was a zombie 20 minutes into it?? I can only imagine how the day went...
