hey look, i'm on tv!

Have you seen the Progressive commercials with the quirky perky salesgirl? I love those commercials. But this latest one makes me laugh every time, mainly, because it reminds me of me.

Have you seen yourself on tv lately?

I don't see myself, but I laugh aloud everytime I see the Swiffer commercial where the mop hides in the bushes and has someone deliver flowers to the lady who switched to Swiffer, with the "Baby Come Back" song in the background. I don't know why, but it cracks me up. I guess because mops resemble people!

The Camryn Manheim character on The Practice reminds me of me. Camryn and I are even the same age, well she's a little older (about six weeks) than I am. We're a lot alike though in looks and attitude, at least that's true of me and the character she played. I don't really know about Camryn herself.

Queenie would agree, there just ain't been a 'me' ever on TV ... I'd make a terribly unbelievable character even if they tried ....

Every time I head off to work, I try to channel the Progressive.com lady's perky attitude so I can get through the shift. That usually lasts me about an hour, depending on the day. Tomorrow already doesn't bode well!

My face commercials are the sonic ones. Oh, and the Geico caveman commercials. I love dry humor.

I relate to Grace of Will and Grace. Probably because the stupid situations she gets herself into. And her love for food. And her gay friends. :-)

I'm one of those shirtless guys on the Abercrombie & Fitch ads. Obviously.

I don't know that I've seen someone in a commercial who reminds me of myself, but I WISH I were as perky and upbeat as the Progressive chick!

I suppose I should be technically correct and say there ain't been no me in mannerisms and such but many times I've been compared to Al Boreland and/or Norm Abrams.

Only on the weekends, when I wear my flannel.
