Pristine and delightful, it all looks so beautiful...how I hope to go there some day and retrace some of the steps my parents took when they lived there!
Sailor -- Thanks. That is a seal. He would come up on our beach (Poi'pu Beach) every morning. One morning he got in a little brawl with another seal to keep it off his turf (surf?). It was pretty cool to see.
Cocotte -- I have plenty to post when it snows. About 300. What can I say, I love my camera!
Girl -- Your parents lived there?! Now that is cool. I loved Kauai. It would definitely be at the top of my list of places to live.
I think on our honeymoon, I took something on the order of 300 photos. In those days, you just kept buying more film. Nowadays, I suppose you just have to make sure you have enough disk space with you. . .

Phyllis, these are wonderful!
Great photos, and a gorgeous location- is that a sea lion, or what? (I'm not up on my ocean beasties!)
How adorable is that seal (if that is indeed what it is)?
You need to post these again when the snow starts flying!

When I finally get to Hawaii, I'll probably be about 70, and I bet I'll look *exactly* like that second picture.
Count me disappointed on the lack of grass skirt photos, by the way.
