it's a party

I'm on a new crew at work and that is a good thing. To say this crew is a lot more laid back would be an understatement. It wouldn't be too much of a stretch to say that they strive to live up to the description of survey party; there's a lot of fun and games. The other day I was telling the guys that in just two weeks I'll been on a plane headed on vacation. As if on cue, they both broke out singing, "Leavin' on a jet plane." They're crazy!!

Sure, we get the work done, but we might as well have fun while we're at it. If we're having a bad day we can get a hug from the dancing monster on the dashboard or celebrate Frosty Friday. There's trivia games, name that artist (from the oldies station), and, of course, the practical jokes. We've even talked once about trading our hard hats in for party hats.

Frosty Fridays?! I need to have Frosty Fridays!

I love jobs that are like what you've described. My job isn't stressful in the least, and many shifts find my coworkers and I standing around in huge laughing fits. I really do love working there, however, Frosty Fridays would make the job even better!

Having fun with the people you work with while at work seems to make it all worth while! I miss those days myself.

And yeah - I'd LOVE to have a Frosty Friday!

That's awesome, instead of 'Men Working', you get to be on the party crew.

Cool deal there! Enjoy the fun ....

Bit of paint and you could make your hard-hats into party hats .....

We have fun days every so often here but most are, well, not.

I need to get myself one of those burger kings to put on my dashboard.

Oh, and are you hiring, by any chance?

Practical jokes make everything better.

In my old job, I made some really good friends, and going to work was easy, because the folks I worked with were so amiable.

I wish my current job were more like that. . .
