my pirate name

My pirate name is:

Black Charity Kidd

Like anyone confronted with the harshness of robbery on the high seas, you can be pessimistic at times. Even though you're not always the traditional swaggering gallant, your steadiness and planning make you a fine, reliable pirate. Arr!

Hi Phyliss Renee!!! I read your comment--thanks for the compliment. And, I love the pirate quiz, tho I don't know if Captain Ethel Flint is a good name or not!! ha ha I read your latest post (I'm at work & can't read too many!!), and I can tell you why I wait so long to take "things" to God--cause that's exactly what the devil wants us to do--think we can control our own lives!! That gets us so distanced from God's presence that we forget who He is and the power He has. When you get to doubting or trying to take those issues back, just repeat 2 Corinthians 10:5--I have to use that ALOT. I'll be back to read more!! AND--interesting that you are a land surveyor!! My son is working as a "surveyor's asst" at this time. Small world!!

Ethel Flint -- I think that is a grand name, Captain! Actually, from reading your blog, I would say it fits you quite nicely. And thank you for the Scripture.

I wish I had gotten into surveying when I was younger. Now I'm going to be near retirement by the time I get my Survey Technology degree. (Gosh, that's a whole post in itself.)

Bloody Davy Flint -- That name kind of scares me. You must have put "red" as your favorite color. (I'm just guessing) But, I like it!

Iron Tom Vane -- Hmmmm, that's quite interesting. Sounds very strong.

*Gushing* Can I just say that, after two years of blogging, I am so glad I finally have some readers who actually leave comments. It makes this so much more fun.
