In case you couldn't tell from the two previous posts, I have a new camera. I've spent nearly every spare moment since Christmas Eve reading and re-reading the manual, researching the web for clues as to what the manual is talking about, and, of course, taking pictures.

I had always hoped I would eventually get a digital camera and now . . . well this one is just amazing. So amazing, in fact, it's intimidating! Not just the typical point-and-shoot; this thing has all the features of a 35mm, but with the conveniences of a digital camera. It even allows some editing features before the pictures are even uploaded to the computer.

So, I'm happy to say I will now be able to include some photos on here to make this blog more interesting. If you know anything about photography, please feel free to offer comments and suggestions. I need all the help I can get!
